Hoxie Brothers general manager John Hall wore his love for the circus on his sleeve, and on his Cadillac. Five decades had passed when, by chance, on a motorcycle ride through Wisconsin, I happened upon the City of Baraboo, home of Circus World, a huge complex dedicated to the history of circus life. It was once the wintering grounds of the Ringling Brothers Circus. I still had my photographs from my circus days, long ago. I stopped and spoke with Jennifer Cronk, their Curator of Circus History, and now my images are a part of their vast collection.
