Military ID (A work in progress.)

"Semper Fidelis," Always Faithful, has been the motto of the US Marine Corps since 1883. It is also the title of their official march, composed in 1889 by band director, John Philip Sousa. The other service mottos are: U.S. Army “This We’ll Defend,” the U.S. Air Force “Aim High … Fly-Fight-Win,” the U.S. Coast Guard “Semper Paratus” – Always Ready, and the U.S. Space Force “Semper Supra” – Always Above. And while the U.S. Navy has no official motto, “Non sibi sed patriae” – Latin for “Not self, but country,” is inscribed above the chapel doors of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. This proud veteran's license plate was seen in Boise, Idaho.
